Promotion Rules

1. The Midnight March ("Promotion") is valid from 1 March 2026 at 18h00 until 31 March 2026 at 00:00 (midnight), or until stock lasts. Discounted pricing (“Discount”) on specified vehicles is available Monday to Sunday between 18:00 and 00:00 (midnight) (“Promotional Window”).
2. To qualify for the Discount, you must:

• Visit the WeBuyCars website at www.webuycars.co.za.
• Select your preferred qualifying vehicle at your choice of WeBuyCars branch, available under the Midnight March "tab".
• Register and/or log in to your WeBuyCars account on our website.
• Secure the vehicle and discount by making use of the “Reserve Vehicle” option and concluding the process by initiating payment of the required deposit via our secure online portal during the daily Promotional Window.
• Visit the WeBuyCars branch to complete the transaction. The transaction will only be completed upon payment of the full outstanding purchase price, or securing approved finance at a financial institution, signature of the WeBuyCars sales agreement and receipt of supporting documentation as required by WeBuyCars for any reason whatsoever, including documentation for FICA purposes. Please note that the transaction must be completed within the time period as specified on the WeBuyCars website when reserving the vehicle.
• The Reserve Now option enables you to secure a Category A vehicle for 48 hours and a Category B vehicle for 24 hours. You can reserve a Category A vehicle by paying a holding deposit of R5 000 for vehicles with a purchase price of up to R200 000 and R10 000 for vehicles with a purchase price greater than R200 000. Category B vehicles can be reserved by paying a R2 500 holding deposit.
• Failure to complete the transaction within the specified time period will result in the cancellation of the transaction. The vehicle will be returned, at WeBuyCars sole discretion to either the general stock pool at its original retail price or at a similar or different Discount.
• The Promotion is valid only while stocks last. WeBuyCars reserves the right to limit the number of vehicles available per customer.
• The Discount applied during the Promotional Window are final for that specific transaction and cannot be applied retroactively and/or to future purchases and/or to alternative vehicle(s).
• Discounts are linked to the registered profile and are non-transferable to other individuals or entities.
• All standard WeBuyCars terms and conditions of sale shall apply.
• This Competition is subject to change. WeBuyCars reserves the right to amend these terms and conditions, or to suspend or cancel the Competition at any time without prior notice or liability.

1. The Promoter

1.1.  The promoter of the Easter Discount Promotion (“the Promotion”) is We Buy Cars (Pty) Ltd (“WeBuyCars”), with registration number 2015/130772/07 and registered address at Building 7, Byls Bridge Office Park, 6 Byls Bridge Boulevard, Highveld, Centurion, Gauteng.

1.2. All persons participating in this Promotion (“Participant(s)”) are deemed to have read, understood and agreed to these Terms and Conditions (“T&Cs”) as set out herein below.

1.3. Please read these T&Cs carefully, as some of these T&Cs may limit the risk or liability of WeBuyCars or a third party and/or may create a risk or liability for the Participant and/or may compel the Participant to indemnify WeBuyCars or a third party and/or serve as an acknowledgement of the Participant of a fact.

1.4. These T&Cs are governed by the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008, as amended (“the Act”). The content of these T&Cs is not intended to, or must not be understood to unlawfully restrict, limit or avoid any rights or obligations, as the case may be, created either for WeBuyCars or the Participant in terms of the Act and the Regulations of the Act. Any provision of these T&Cs which is found to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable shall be severable and shall not affect the remaining provisions.

2. Participation and Eligibility

2.1. By participating in the Promotion, the Participant acknowledges that he/she has read these T&Cs and understands and agrees to be bound by these T&Cs.

2.2. All Participants must be 18 (eighteen) years or older and possess a valid South African identity number or a valid passport. The Participant must have all of the required documents allowing them to purchase and/or sell a motor vehicle as defined in the National Road Traffic Act 93 of 1996, as amended (“Vehicle” or “Vehicles”) in South Africa.

2.3. No employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant or any person directly or indirectly who controls, or is controlled by, WeBuyCars or its holding company and/or any subsidiary of WeBuyCars (“the Group”), and/or immediate family members of any employee, director, member, partner, agent or consultant of or person indirectly or directly in control or controlled by the Group or its agencies, advisers, dealers, suppliers, its affiliates and/or associated companies may participate in the Promotion.

2.4. By buying a Vehicle and qualifying for the Promotion, the Participant(s) consent to the collection, processing, storage and use (but not to share, except where required by applicable law) of their personal information for the reasons set out in WeBuyCars’ privacy policy, which is available at https://www.webuycars.co.za/privacy. Participants may opt out of direct marketing communications at any time.

3. Easter Discount Promotion

3.1. The Promotion applies to selected Vehicles purchased via cash or finance at a WeBuyCars branch during the period from 3 April 2026 to 6 April 2026 (both dates inclusive) (“Promotion Dates”).

3.2. Vehicles purchased via auction are strictly excluded from the Promotion and will not qualify for any discounts offered.

3.3. The qualifying Vehicles will be marked with an “Easter Egg” sticker during the Promotion Dates. A pre-determined discount will be indicated on the “Easter Egg” sticker.

3.4. Discounts are only available while promotional stock lasts and are allocated strictly on a first-come, first-served basis.

3.5. For cash transactions, the net purchase price must be paid in full on the same day of the invoice issue date. Failure to pay and provide proof of payment on this day will result in the immediate forfeiture of the discount. In the case of financed transactions, the Participant must provide all required documentation for the finance application to be submitted on the day of signature of the OTP.

3.6. The discount indicated on the Easter Egg sticker is final. No correspondence or disputes regarding the discount value will be entered into.

3.7. The discount is capped at the total purchase price of the Vehicle. No "change" or cash-outs will be given if a discount exceeds the purchase price.

3.8. The discount awarded in terms of the Promotion is non-transferable and cannot be assigned, sold, or transferred to any other party, individual, or transaction. Additionally, there shall be no variation, modification, or alteration of these T&Cs, unless determined by WeBuyCars, in its sole discretion, and any such amendment will be effective upon publication. These T&Cs shall remain binding on the Participant.

4. General Rules, Liabilities and Indemnities

4.1. In the event of a cancellation of the transaction, including cancellations under sections 55 and 56 of the Act, or in the event that the Participant do not take delivery of the Vehicle within the prescribed time frame, any discount awarded in the Promotion will be forfeited by the Participant. Consequently, the Participant shall have no entitlement, in cash or any other form, to the discounted amount. Additionally, the forfeited discount will not be transferable or applicable to any replacement Vehicle or subsequent purchase.

4.2. The Participants who receive discounts may be publicly announced through social media platforms, which will include posts containing personal information about the Participants. This information may include, but is not limited to, photographs, videos and the names of the Participants (“personal information”). By participating in the Promotion, Participants consent to such processing and publication of their personal information, subject to applicable data protection laws. Participants may withdraw consent for the publication of their personal information by sending an email to [email protected]. However, such withdrawal will not apply to materials already published or distributed before the withdrawal of consent was received.

4.3. By participating in the Promotion, all the Participants indemnify WeBuyCars, including its associated companies, their directors, officers, employees and agents, against any claims for any loss or damages, whether direct, indirect, special, incidental or consequential or otherwise, arising from any cause whatsoever connected to or arising from their participation in any way in this Promotion.

4.4. WeBuyCars reserves the right to refuse a discount if there is any suspicion of irregularity or fraud.

4.5. The allocation of discounts will be final, and no communication will be considered in this regard. The discounts will be immediately handed over or applied to the transaction at the point of sale.

4.6. The Participants undertake to, within a reasonable time and as required by WeBuyCars, do all things necessary to enable WeBuyCars to comply with its obligations in terms of the Act, including, but not limited to, providing such personal information as may be required to facilitate the application of the discount.

4.7. This Promotion is subject to change. WeBuyCars reserves the right to amend these T&Cs, or to suspend or cancel the Promotion at any time without prior notice or liability.
