This role is ideal for someone who lives and breathes social media, stays on top of the latest trends, and has a passion for content creation and community engagement. You will work closely with the Marketing Operations Lead and Creative Lead to support the day-to-day management of our organic social media presence across all platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist with the scheduling and publishing of organic social media content across Facebook, Instagram, Twitter/X, LinkedIn, and TikTok, etc.
• Write engaging copy for social media posts in line with the WeBuyCars brand voice.
• Shoot and edit short-form video content, including Reels, TikToks, and other trending video formats.
• Stay up to date with the latest social media trends, sounds, and content formats and bring fresh ideas to the team.
• Monitor all social media channels daily to ensure timely responses and brand consistency.
• Manage community engagement by responding to comments, mentions, and tags across all platforms via our centralised community management platform.
• Interact with posts that WeBuyCars has been tagged in, ensuring a consistent and professional brand presence.
• Manage and respond to all incoming social media tickets and comments, including those from Twitter/X, Instagram, Facebook, LinkedIn, etc.
• Escalate queries or complaints where necessary and ensure all community interactions are handled professionally and timeously.
• Monthly community management reports tracking engagement, response times, sentiment, and key community trends.
• Support the broader marketing team with ad hoc social media tasks as required.
